Customers have raised complaints about a prominent travel agency, TravizGo, for allegedly failing to issue plane tickets after payment, citing cash flow issues and promising to refund with 7.5% interest per year within 90 days.

We Are Consumers (พวกเราคือผู้บริโภค) Facebook members posted warnings about TravizGo, which offers flight, hotel, and tour package bookings via its website and app.

“Anyone who booked travel with TravizGo, please check your tickets. The company took the money and left customers hanging, delaying responses and ultimately declaring they have no funds.”

The post included a document sent via email to the poster, stating the issue of a full refund for the plane tickets. The document explained that TravizGo Innotech Co., Ltd. was temporarily suspended from issuing plane tickets by relevant authorities due to numerous complaints.

This led to a sudden closure of the company’s revenue channels, causing severe financial liquidity issues and preventing them from issuing the tickets as scheduled. The company assured customers it is committed to resolving the issue and acknowledged the importance of good customer service, emphasising its 20-year history in the industry.

TravizGo committed to refunding customers in full, including interest at a rate of 7.5% per year, within 90 days from the date customers request a refund. They stressed their efforts to manage the situation diligently, considering the current economic conditions and the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their business operations.

The company apologised to all customers for the incident, guaranteed their right to a full refund, and welcomed feedback to improve their services.

Reports indicated that the company’s website remains operational, offering promotions on flights, hotels, and tour packages, reported KhaoSod.

However, the Facebook post generated numerous comments from users sharing similar experiences:

“I saw warnings in the international travel group.”

“People have been discussing this in travel groups for two or three weeks now. Some booked expensive tickets only to be left in the lurch.”

“I almost didn’t make it. I had to threaten legal action before they issued my ticket.”

“I booked once for four people, and it took two days to get the tickets. Communication was difficult; they never responded to my emails. Luckily, I had no issues during the flight. I wouldn’t book with them again. Normally, other agencies provide tickets immediately after booking and payment.”
