A Thai woman came forward to seek justice accusing a police officer from Naduang Police Station in the Isaan province of Loei of demanding free alcohol from her while asking inappropriate questions about her sex life with her foreign husband.

The 41 year old Thai woman, Jareeporn Wannachoo, revealed to Channel 7 that the officer from Naduang Police Station, Police Captain Prateep Sittichak, called her at about 11.30am on May 23, stating that the police needed her help and support.

When he arrived at her house, he asked for alcohol instead of discussing police matters. He entered her home and insisted on being served hard liquor, not beer.

Jareeporn complied with Prateep’s request and waited to discuss the police matter that Prateep told her. Nevertheless, Prateep began asking inappropriate questions about sex. He made inquiries about the frequency of her sex activities, her husband’s ability to perform sexual activities due to an illness, and the size of his private parts.

Jareeporn asked Prateep to leave but he ignored her request and continued drinking until he was drunk. He later fell asleep in a police pickup truck outside Naduang Police Station.

Prateep defended himself during the interview with Amarin TV that the incident was a misunderstanding. He visited Jareeporn’s house due to concerns about drug addicts in the area and admitted to asking for alcohol, claiming she had offered support in the past. He also alleged she frequently gave him money for patrolling her neighbourhood.

After several media outlets spread Jareeporn’s story, the superintendent of Naduag Police Station, Piti Pimphumee, came forward to respond to the issue. He promised to provide justice to both parties and would set up a special committee to investigate the matter.

Piti promised a fair investigation and has temporarily relocated Prateep to the Loei Provincial Police pending further investigation.
