Nominations being accepted for Thailand’s first Expat Entrepreneur Awards
PHUKET: Bangkok-based publisher, The BigChilli Company, has announced that it will be hosting Thailand’s first Expat Entrepreneur Awards 2014 on September 25 in Bangkok.
The accolades will be awarded in a variety of categories such as arts and culture, education, hospitality and travel to highlight the contributions that foreign-owned/managed companies have made to Thailand’s economy.
The awards ceremony is jointly organized by the English-language magazine for expatriates and internationally educated Thais, The BigChilli, and Bangkok Now (BNOW) – a Bangkok networking group which consists of a professional community of more than 3,000 expats and business owners.
Judges for the event include Fred Mouawad, Chairman and CEO of Synergia One; Stanley Kang, Chairman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand; Khun Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Chairman, Toshiba Thailand Co Ltd; Roy Howard, Chairman, Format & Partners and Kent Wiley, Management Consultant.
The awards will be presented and hosted by renowned journalist, media host and entrepreneur Andrew Biggs.
Nominations are still being accepted until July 31.
