Johor state thanks federal government for Malaysia Madani Budget 2023 aid

The Johor state government has expressed gratitude to the federal government for addressing several critical issues affecting the region. Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi highlighted concerns such as floods, road conditions, hospitals, and congestion at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) customs, immigration and quarantine complex (CIQ) in Johor Baru, as well as the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) in Iskandar Puteri. The entire executive council is appreciative of the assistance and allocation provided by the federal government under the Malaysia Madani Budget 2023.

Onn Hafiz shared his thoughts in a Facebook post, stating, “The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim agreed to receive the courtesy call of the Johor State executive council yesterday.” He also expressed hope that the strong relationship between the state and federal governments would contribute to Johor becoming a developed state by 2030. The meeting at the Prime Minister’s office included the Prime Minister’s principal private secretary, Datuk Dr Farizah Ahmad.
