British Airways has introduced special Black Friday offers on its Singapore – London route from this week. The UK’s flagship carrier has confirmed return economy fares will start from SGD849 in World Traveller Class (around 21,000 Thai baht) and SGD3,999 in Business class (approximately 98,000 baht). According to a TTR Weekly report, bookings must be made by December 2.
Noella Ferns, the airline’s head of sales for the Asia-Pacific region, says the introduction of vaccinated travel lanes is a promising development for 2022 travel.
“With the introduction of Quarantine-Free Vaccinated Travel Lane flights from London Heathrow, and the increased easing of travel restrictions generally, we know that our customers are eager to start planning their 2022 adventures.”
Singapore recently introduced a number of quarantine-free vaccinated travel lanes and TTR Weekly reports that British Airways is working with the Singaporean government on the London Heathrow VTL. Passengers can travel quarantine-free from Singapore to London, provided they are fully vaccinated and receive a negative PCR test before departure.
In order to return to Singapore, they must apply for the Singapore Vaccinated Travel Pass between 7 and 30 days before travel. TTR Weekly reports that children under the age of 12 are exempt from the requirements but can only travel if accompanied by a vaccinated adult.
