Leopard cat found dumped in plastic box in Kathu
A leopard cat has been saved after being found dumped inside a plastic box in Kathu.
The head of Khao Phra Thaeo Non-Hunting Area Study Centre Pongchart Chueahom says he had received the healthy leopard cat kitten from a local.

“After that we went to the Thalang Police Station to file a report about the dumping of a protected animal.”
The leopard cat was found inside a plastic box on the side of the road in Kathu. The leopard cat is being cared for before being released back to the forest.
The Leopard Cat is a protected wild animal in Thailand. Hunting, selling and possessing of the species are prohibited.
