Foreign man walks naked in Phuket, ignoring bystanders’ shock

A foreign man was seen walking naked outside a convenience store in Phuket last night shocking bystanders and drawing hilarious comments from Thai netizens.
The Phuket Times shared pictures of the naked foreigner yesterday, February 24, with a caption that read, “This foreign man walked naked in Soi Ta-iad, Phuket. He does not care about anyone and does not feel embarrassed.”
The background of the picture showed a 7-Eleven convenience store in the alley. The naked foreign man was seen walking around the parking area outside the store. Both foreigners and Thai people at the scene stared at him, but he paid no attention to anyone.
There are no further details on whether the foreign man was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. The motive behind his decision to strip naked was not revealed in the report either.
According to Thai law, the foreigner faces a fine of up to 5,000 baht for exposing himself in a public place under Section 388 of the Criminal Law. However, most foreign suspects who have committed similar offences have not faced any charges.

Thai netizens shared their amusing comments under the pictures.
“Anything is possible in Phuket. It’s a paradise for foreigners.”
“This foreign man comes to the right place. Phuket suits him!”
“Titan invades Phuket!”
“He might lose all his money to a woman and can’t even afford clothes.”
As with similar incidents reported earlier, Thai netizens called on the government to cancel the visa-free policy to prevent low-quality foreign visitors.

Two other foreigners who managed to evade legal punishment for similar lewd acts were a foreign couple caught having sex on Krating Lai Beach in Pattaya. The couple reportedly noticed Thai witnesses recording them but ignored them and continued their sexual activity until they had finished.
Last month, another couple escaped legal consequences after being caught having sex on Pattaya Beach. In this case, not only did a group of beachgoers witness the act, but the entire crowd on the beach did as well.
No legal action was taken against another foreign couple who had sex in a tuk tuk in Bangkok last month. The driver insisted that he attempted to stop them but his pleas were ignored as the two foreigners remained focused solely on their sexual activity.
