Wide interest in travel show
PHUKET: The 2nd Phuket and Andaman Travel Trade (PATT) show will be held at the Royal Phuket City Hotel on December 3 and 4 with the aim of helping to stimulate the market and introduce new tourism products such as adventure tourism, health & spa tourism, and agrotourism. Arranged by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Southern Office, Region 4, the Thai Hotels Association, Southern Chapter, and the Phuket Tourist Association, the event has already attracted 175 tourism businesses from Phuket, Phang-nga, and Krabi, and 250 travel agents from 25 countries, including new target markets such as the People’s Republic of China, Russia, and Indochina. On December 3 only the travel agents from overseas will be admitted to the event. Domestic travel agents and the public may attend on December 4 from 10 am to 4 pm.
