Video Report: Animatronics attraction lands in Phuket

PHUKET: Life-like dinosaurs, giant spiders and aliens have landed in Phuket on board the space ship Ghostinium; a new high-tech animatronic attraction which opened at Central Festival East today.
The new indoor exhibition featuring a variety of robotic creatures is located on the third floor of the shopping center next to Homeworks.
“Ghostinium offers a great, fun way for kids to learn,” said Vadim Gostev, the creator of the collection of moving creatures, which includes a 2.8-meter tall tyrannosaurus rex and a massive gorilla standing eight meters tall.
Visitors are greeted by a virtual host and documentary to guide them through the holding pens of the mock-up space craft in four languages: Thai, English, Chinese, and Russian.
The attraction is open from 12pm to 8pm Tuesday through Sunday.
Entry prices are 300 baht for kids and 400 baht for adults.
