RASSADA: The body of a murdered Burmese fisherman was found at the Rassada Port area on Friday, bringing the number of corpses discovered in what has been nicknamed the “Burmese Cemetery” to three in just two days.

Pol Capt Kanuang Pitakkulthorn, of Phuket City Police Station, said he received a call from residents at the port informing him that a body had been discovered floating near the Sangaroon Pier.

Police arrived at about 10:30 am and retrieved a body, which was dressed only in black trousers. The man been stabbed three times with a sharp implement in the stomach and chest.
