Phuket’s Tri-Asia to launch Dewa Karon Beach resort in November
PHUKET: Phuket-based hospitality management company Tri-Asia has signed a management agreement to launch and run a unique new property at Karon Beach. The resort will be operated as Dewa Karon Beach Phuket, reflecting its status as sister to the highly successful Dewa Nai Yang Beach hotel launched two years ago.
The announcement was made by Lars Ydmark, founder and managing director of Tri-Asia. Noting that the project has been referred to as Baan Karon Paradise until now, Mr Ydmark said the property will open its doors to the public on November 1, 2011.
Dewa Karon Beach Phuket is a 4-star boutique resort located on a hillside just a 5-minute walk to the beach. The property consists of 49 apartments, a ‘Karon Suite’ (one-bedroom apartment) and a Family Suite (two-bedroom apartment), and the roof-top, one-bedroom Grande Karon Suite.
Tri-Asia says that all units are equipped with a kitchenette and are built for couples and families, adding that the units on the 3rd floor have spectacular sea views over Karon Beach.
Resort facilities include a restaurant with bar, a wrap-around swimming pool, a minimart and free wireless internet access.
