Kathu police got mail

PATONG: The Kathu Police Station now has an email address for people who wish to ask questions or make suggestions to the police. Pol Col Chalit Thintanee, superintendent of Kathu Police Station, told the Gazette, “I think this will be good for people who want to contact us to complain or make suggestions about the problems in Patong. We will help to solve the problems.” Col Chalit added that, since he has moved to Kathu, he has received many complaints from foreigners about theft and about noise pollution in the Patong area. The email service is part of a nationwide effort by the Ministry of Interior to have every province set up a presence on the Internet. The email address of Kathu Police Station is patongpolice@police.go.th.
