HRH Princess Sirindhorn to visit Phuket next week
PHUKET: HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will pay an official visit to Phuket on May 27.
The Princess is scheduled to arrive at Phuket International Airport at 8:30am aboard a Royal Thai Air Force jet.
In the morning, the Princess will visit Chalermprakiat Somdejprasrinakarin Phuket School in Saphan Hin to preside over the dedication of a monument to Somdejprasrinakarin, the Princess Mother.
From there the Princess will visit the nearby offices of the Phuket Red Cross and the Red Cross Regional Blood Bank, also in Saphan Hin.
After that she will preside over a seminar on Baba-Peranakan (Straits Chinese) culture at the Royal Phuket City Hotel.
At 1pm a helicopter will land at Saphan Hin Stadium to fly the princess to Phi Phi Island in Krabi, where she will continue her tour of the region.
The Princess is scheduled to visit Phang Nga the following day.
Any and all are allowed to visit the above mentioned sites to welcome the Princess.
