Flash flood puts Phuket police station in deep water

PHUKET: Patong Police are scrambling to keep dry after their station was hit by flash floods this afternoon.

“The flood happened just after lunch. This morning the weather was fine. However, this afternoon our office began filling up with water,” Lt Col Suttichai Tianpho of the Patong Police told the Phuket Gazette.

“I don’t think there was much damage. Maybe some office stationary and the such.”

Similar flash flooding left Patong Police officers knee deep in water in August last year (story here).
