PHUKET: FC Phuket beat Chainat FC by a score of 1 – 0 tonight in the Thai League playoffs for promotion to Division 1.

Chainat FC went into the match at the top of the table with two wins, but they were dominated by FC Phuket in the first half.

FC Phuket scored on a brilliant header early in the second half, then went into defensive mode to secure the victory.

It was the first home match for FC Phuket, who drew their first two games on the road.
