AAT warns of Phuket flight delays
PHUKET: The Airports Authority of Thailand (AAT) advised today that, because of increased security, outbound international passengers should make sure they allow three hours to clear processing at Phuket Airport. In some cases, flights have been delayed because tourists – or their agents and guides – have failed to allow enough time for clearing security, customs and immigration. The AAT also reminded travelers that those arriving from southern Africa or South America must be in possession of a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Outbound passengers joining flights for those two parts of the world may now receive yellow fever vaccinations at Phuket Airport for 550 baht a shot.
