Pattaya motorbike thief crashes student’s birthday bash

A Pattaya motorbike thief become a party pooper in the early hours of this morning, ruining a student’s birthday party celebrations, as revealed by a social media post that’s gone viral.

CCTV footage from yesterday, March 23, at 8pm revealed a daring theft unfolding in Soi Buakhao. The clip captured a thief effortlessly making off with a black Honda PCX—license plate 4 7973 Chon Buri, at around 4.15am.

The distressed owner, Thanaphon, shared a heartfelt message online:

“#LookingForLostBike Bike Stolen (Reward Offered for Information Leading to Recovery). Stolen near Soi Chaloem Phrakiat 21 (Buakhao-Pattaya Third Road). Last seen on camera near the Nong Yai railway area. If anyone spots it, please contact 092-5314744 or 089-9307605. Thank you!”

The saga began when a friend borrowed Thanaphon’s bike for an errand, returning it to its rightful parking spot. The friend confirmed its return, but a moment of carelessness proved costly.

Thanaphon asked the friend to hide the remote key in the motorcycle’s front storage compartment. Later, when he went to retrieve the bike, it had vanished.

Thanaphon reported the theft to Pattaya City Police, pleading for help as the loss has severely hampered his daily life, leaving him stranded without transport to school, reported Pattaya News.

Relatives have since taken to Facebook, offering a reward for any information leading to the thief’s arrest or the recovery of the beloved bike.
