Car and motorbike crash in Bang Lamung claims one life
A tragic crash in Bang Lamung has left one passenger dead and a motorbike rider critically injured. The devastating accident unfolded just before 12.30pm yesterday, November 11, near a housing estate and Motorway 7 on Soi Chaiyaphon Vidhi 25 in Nongprue.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene following the horrific collision, which involved a car and a motorbike. Officers found the car badly damaged at the front, with the motorbike lodged underneath, still trapped by the wreckage.
The rider, 30 year old Wirat, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Tragically, his passenger, 33 year old Nidjaree, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 40 year old foreign woman, was visibly shaken upon realising the fatal consequences of the crash. Her identity has been withheld by authorities as investigations continue into the incident.
Disturbing CCTV footage from the area shows the car dragging the motorbike for a harrowing 50 metres, providing chilling evidence of the severity of the impact. The investigation is ongoing, and police have yet to determine whether the foreign driver will face any charges.
