A Myanmar migrant woman, identified only as Manosao, was found dead, trapped under a wooden log. Two injured male migrants, Saw Aung and Zupai Oo, were transported to the hospital with serious head and hip injuries, as reported by the police.

The survivors disclosed to the police that they were part of a group of 30 Myanmar migrants who were smuggled into Thailand. After crossing the border and bypassing checkpoints, they were loaded into two pickup trucks.

During the journey, the vehicles collided, causing both drivers and several migrants to flee into the nearby forest, reported The Pattaya News.

One injured migrant later approached the police near the road, which facilitated his admission to the hospital. The police have identified the owners of the trucks and are in the process of seeking court approval for arrest warrants.
