Thai tourists injured in bus crash in Turkey’s Denizli province

A tour bus carrying 26 Thai tourists crashed into a roadside signboard in Denizli, Turkey, resulting in injuries to all onboard.

Four of the tourists were critically injured, while the remaining 22 suffered other injuries. The accident took place yesterday (November 23) while the tourists, travelling with the Doraku Tours company, were exploring the popular tourist province.

The injured tourists were promptly admitted to Cardak, Denizli, and Pamukkale hospitals for medical attention. Officials from the Thai embassy in Ankara are closely monitoring their conditions and have taken the responsibility of informing their respective families about the unfortunate incident.

As of now, the cause behind this tragic accident remains unknown. The Thai embassy, in collaboration with local authorities, is working diligently to ascertain the circumstances leading to the crash. Despite the incident, the embassy continues to encourage Thai citizens to explore Turkey, a nation rich in history and culture, while exercising necessary caution during their travels, reported Bangkok Post.

In related news, a bus crash occurred yesterday at 6.30am when a Sri Mongkol Transport Co. Ltd bus lost control and collided with an electrical pole on the bypass road in Khon Kaen.
