Teenage Thai girl accuses tattoo artist of sexual assault
A 16 year old Thai girl filed a complaint against a male tattoo artist in Chon Buri province, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting her during a tattoo session.
The girl reported the sexual assault to Saensuk Police Station in Chon Buri province and also urged the non-profit organisation Saimai Survive to share the story with the public. The victim said she was sure that she had been sexually assaulted because her nipple covers were off when she woke up.
The victim reported that the incident took place on February 12 at a private tattoo studio in Chon Buri. She went to the studio as a tattoo model for the artist and received the service for free. She had to remove her shirt to receive a tattoo on her back, and the artist recommended that she only wear nipple silicone covers to facilitate his work.
Concerned for her safety, the victim said she went to the studio with her boyfriend. However, the artist asked the boyfriend to wait in a living room outside the studio, leaving her alone with the artist.
After a few hours of tattooing, she felt sore and wanted to stop the process. The artist asked her to continue and gave her two pills. She took them, thinking they were painkillers, but the medicine put her to sleep. The girl said that when she woke her up her two nipple covers had disappeared.
She felt the artist was touching her breasts so she pretended to be sore and asked the artist to stop. She then returned home and sent a message to the artist asking about the sexual assault.
Artist defends himself
In the screenshot of the conversation, the artist admitted that he might have accidentally touched her beasts. She insisted that it was not an accident because she felt he was touching her nipples.
The artist denied the allegation but apologised to the girl. He also claimed that the nipple covers might have accidentally fallen off. He added that he would let his friend continue with the tattoo if she did not trust him, but the victim refused to continue.
The accused tattoo artist insisted on his innocence during the interview with Workpoint News. He admitted that he might have accidentally touched her private parts but not intentionally as the girl mentioned. The artist said her boyfriend would have noticed if he had done it.
The artist also filed a lawsuit against the client for destroying his image and reputation.
