A perverted thief last night disguised himself in women’s clothes complete with a wig before stealing 40 items of ladies’ underwear that were drying outside the homes of two women in the eastern province of Rayong last night.

A Thai couple shared CCTV camera footage of the underwear theft with Channel 7 after the incident took place at about 12.50am on July 23. The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, told the media that about 20 bras and panties were stolen. Her female neighbour also lost about 20 pieces of underwear to the thief.

The man revealed to the media that he was working a night shift when the security camera sent him a notification that it had detected movement outside his home. Worried about his girlfriend, who was alone at home, he checked the CCTV footage and spotted the thief.

The male thief wore women’s clothes and a long-haired wig. He was wearing a white skirt, a long-sleeved pink shirt, and a long dark brown wig. He arrived at the scene on a bicycle and went directly to the clothes rack where the victims’ underwear was hanging.

The man explained that he notified his girlfriend about the theft and asked her not to go outside for her safety until the perverted thief left the scene.

The couple believes that the thief lives in their community, as he used a bicycle to commit the crime. They hope the police will be able to arrest the pervert as soon as possible.

A similar theft was reported in the Isaan province of Udon Thani on July 18 when a male thief was caught breaking into a house, using drugs inside, stealing the homeowner’s underwear for masturbation, and stealing a fan and a television before leaving.

Another underwear theft occurred at a woman’s home in the southern province of Trang four months ago. All of her underwear was stolen, and the thief remains at large. She decided to share the story with the public two weeks ago, hoping to draw any clues about the thief’s identity and to issue a warning to others.
