Bank protestor shows he has balls
BANGKOK: Chuay Kotchasit had led a group of 50 people from Kanchanaburi to the Ministry of Finance in Bangkok to hand in a petition to Deputy Finance Minister Varathep Ratanakorn against the Savings Bank. Chuay had led protestors against the Savings Bank in Kanchanaburi before, when the bank refused to return the money the people had put into a fund. That time he made the headlines by pouring excrement all over himself before walking into the bank, making the bank finally offer to let the people take out loans using the money in the fund as part of the guarantee. Not satisfied with the bank’s offer, the protestors, led by Chuay, came to Bangkok. This time, he tried a new method of protesting. Chuay was sitting with other protestors in front of the Ministry of Finance when he spotted reporters gathering there. He stood up, wrapped a pa-kao-ma around himself and took off his other clothes. Then, wearing only the pa-kao-ma, he walked up to the reporters and lifted it up. Police grabbed him and charged him with obscenity in public. After that Chuay decided to remain clothed but said that he and the other protestors would stay in front of the Ministry of Finance until they got their money back.
