Sleep Well Industries is a group of bedding companies headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. The company was founded by Mr Nirmal Chokwonganun in 1982 originally to produce and distribute jute and coconut fibre mattresses. Since then, Sleep Well Industries has expanded to become a leading end-to-end producer, supplier, and retailer of high-quality mattresses for hotels, housing developments, and condominiums across the globe. Sleep Well is the parent company of six unique labels and has sold products B2B as well as B2C across 5 continents with an active presence in 25+ countries. Sleep Well’s brands include DreamMaster, Sleep Happy, Dream Standard Textiles, Parker and Morgan, iDreamPillo and King Koil Thailand. The company also operates its flagship Sleep City showrooms across Thailand.

Sleep Well’s long history and global market dominance is a testament to its expertise in the science of sleep and prioritized focus on pioneering and adopting innovative sleep technology. Today Sleep Well is amongst Asia Pacific’s largest pocket spring manufacturers for the hospitality industry with an extensive reference list that includes Accor Group, Best Western, IHG Hotels, Marriott International, Radisson Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels, and many more independent and chain hotels. Sleep Well produces only the best, and that begins with sourcing the highest quality raw materials and maintaining stringent quality control. Sleep Well’s experienced manufacturing team, with their attention to detail, ensures precision for every element that goes into a Sleep Well bed. This is well reflected in their customer testimonials as well as the numerous international awards, accolades, and certificates they have received for their products.

Sleep Well Industries started primarily producing and trading jute as well as coconut fibres roughly five decades ago. In the 1980s, Mr Nirmal Chokwonganun focused on supplying bedding manufacturers in key markets including Thailand, East Asia, Europe and India. Over time, these relationships and partnerships strengthened and in 1998, Mr Suppharaj Chokwonganun, formally registered Sleep Well Industries and began assembling SuperTech spring mattresses for OEM and third-party labels. This first foray into the bedding industry proved to be very fruitful and gave Sleep Well Industries the direction to grow into the bedding market leader that it is today. bed mattress

In 2005, the Sleep Well team recognized the superior quality of pocket spring mattresses and became a leading company in Thailand to prioritize assembling and distributing the product locally. This strategic decision paved way in 2008 for Sleep Well group to acquire the Dream Master label; an established European pocket spring brand poised for growth. 2010 saw Sleep Well Industries invest in state-of-the-art machinery and expand manufacturing efficiency.

Over the next years, Dream Master became among the fastest-growing pocket spring labels in the world and Sleep Well Industries began earning the business of leading hospitality and housing development projects. In 2015, Sleep Well Industries partnered with Standard Textiles to become their exclusive producer and distributor for Standard Textile’s core Centium technology in the APAC region. With this strategic step, Sleep Well Industries further strengthened its business partnerships with its existing clientele by expanding product offerings to include bed and bath linen.

Under the DreamEfficient Initiative established in 2016, the company invested in new machinery including roll packing technology as well as upgrading the factory floor plan to accommodate and facilitate the growing demand as part of an 8-year development roadmap. Sleep Well Industries also began establishing it’s own direct-to-consumer showrooms in 2017 to increase exposure and direct access to retail consumers.

In 2018, Sleep Well Industries launched the Sleep Happy label as an economy alternative to Dream Master’s premium products. Pooja, Yash and Vikram Chokwonganun who are the third generation reformed the business into creating an online brand and being the first the offer a lifestyle bed-in-a-box brand specialising in pocket\ spring mattresses. They’ve grown the company by 300% from 2020 and expect to become a dominant player in the market within the upcoming few years. Sleep Happy particularly targets retailing and the growing e-commerce B2C platforms and was Sleep Well Industry’s first attempt to achieve horizontal integration. Today Sleep Happy is amongst SEA’s largest online mattress retailers with a strong presence on all key B2C marketplaces.

Following the establishment of Sleep Happy, Sleep Well Industries acquired Parker & Morgan and partnered with King Koil to become the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of King Koil products for Thailand in 2019. This was also the year Dream Sustainable was set up to lead the company’s green initiative. In 2021, Sleep Well established the iDreamPillo label to further diversify and strengthen its retail product offerings. This was also the year that Sleep City was established as Sleep Well Industry’s flagship retail store.

Today Sleep Well Industries is one of the largest roll-pack mattress producers and is set to continue its international expansion across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and USA. With the support of world-class distributors, supply chain partners and retailers – Sleep Well is expected to continue its aggressive growth trajectory and expand its global footprint in the next years.
