Princess Sirindhorn to visit orphans in Phuket, Phang Nga

PHUKET: HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will visit Phuket and Phang Nga on November 23.

Her visit, announced by the Phuket Provincial Governor’s Office yesterday, will start at 9am at the SOS Children’s Village in Koh Kaew, where she will chair the opening ceremony for a new school building.

The orphanage, built following the 2004 tsunami, is the fifth SOS Children’s Village in Thailand.

At 10:30am, Princess Sirindhorn will leave for Phang Nga by helicopter to chair the opening ceremony of the Don Bosco Home in Bangsak.

She will then arrive at 35th Rajaprajanugroh School in Khao Lak at 3:30pm for a short visit, then arrive at Tai Muang Hospital at 3:50pm.

Princess Sirindhorn will return to Phuket by helicopter. She is scheduled to land at Phuket International Airport at 4:40pm.

Her Royal Highness will depart Phuket for Bangkok by royal airplane at 5pm.
