Krabi military fixing bridge washed away in rain
Krabi military officers brought in machineries to Tupprik Sub-District yesterday (April 2) to fix Huay To Bridge after it has been damaged by flash flood.
The damage of the bridge blocked a local community of 30 houses near Khao Panom Benja National Park as well as tourists from entering the national park. They had to walk through water to get to the other side.
Cars couldn’t pass through as the bridge was completely damaged and totally unserviceable.
The military officers are repairing the bridge while making a temporary bridge by placing cement tubes covered with soil to allow the transportation across the canal as fast as possible in the meantime.
If there’s no more heavy rain, the temporary bridge can be used until the permanent one is repaired.
