Fleming 58 added to Derani Yachts portfolio
PHUKET: Phuket-based Derani Yachts were appointed as sales agent and service center for Fleming Yachts in April this year, covering Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Fleming Yachts offer four models: the Fleming 55, 58, 65 and 78. These semi-displacement, raised-pilothouse motor yachts are considered to be ‘the ultimate cruising yachts’ by boating journalists and yachting enthusiasts throughout the world, the company says.
The Fleming 58 was awarded ‘Best Passagemaker in the 50-59 ft class’ at the 2014 AIM Marine Group Editor’s Choice event in the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show last year.
The winners of the awards were chosen with the intent of selecting examples of ‘true ground-breaking innovation that has been well executed’, AIM says.
Fleming believes the award validates their decision to use the 2014 downturn as an opportunity to develop an entirely new design, based on the Fleming tradition, intended to fill the gap between the legendary 55 and the newer, but equally successful Fleming 65.
Located in the Phuket Boat Lagoon, Derani Yachts provide a range of services, including new boat sales, brokerage, yacht servicing, yacht deliveries, commissioning and management.
