Beijing Acrobatics Fantasy in Phuket tonight

PHUKET CITY: One of the world’s most fascinating acrobatics troupes will perform a charity performance at Saphan Hin starting at 7pm.

The 40-strong Beijing Acrobatics Fantasy perform a wide variety of acrobatic stunts.

The troupe are currently in Phuket as part of a nationwide tour that has included stops in Bangkok and the Isarn region.

In a recent nationally televised performance, held in Bangkok, some of the acts included:

juggling and ‘table rolling’ with the feet;

women in leotards engaging in whip play;

a group tumbling demonstration with a small hoop;

human pyramids;

catapulting performers great distances using a see-saw;

parasol twirling and juggling.

Tickets for the show are 500 baht and 1,000 baht.

Proceeds will go to a charity under the patronage of HRH Princess Ubol Ratana Rajakanya.

The show will take place at the Saphan Hin football stadium, where tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
