Wachira dominates hospital games
PHUKET TOWN: Athletes from Wachira Phuket Hospital dominated the Phuket Public Health Sports Games which finished yesterday at the Saphan Hin Sport Center, beating squads from the Phuket Provincial Health Office (PPHO), the Thalang Hospital and the Patong Hospital. The tournament featured seven sport – table tennis, sepak takraw, pétanque, chair ball, volleyball, badminton and soccer. Wachira Phuket Hospital gained nine goal medals, three in table tennis and three in badminton events and one each in takraw, chair ball and volleyball. The final medal tally was: Wachira Phuket Hospital 9 gold, 4 silver; Provincial Health Office 6 gold, 3 silver; Thalang Hospital 2 gold, 7 silver; Patong Hospital 1 gold, 4 silver.
