Phuket private aviation in rapid growth mode
PHUKET: With the recent surge in interest in general aviation kindled by the opening of Phuket Airpark and its airshows [see video], the Phuket Gazette has added to its classified advertising pages a new page dedicated exclusively to the world of private flying in Thailand.
The new page contains listings in six categories: Aircraft for Sale, Aircraft Wanted, Aircraft Sharing, Aircraft Charter, Aviation Services and Flying Lessons. A copy of the page can be seen here. [Users of Firefox may need to adjust their browser settings, under Tools, to use Adobe Reader.]
All ads listed in the page appear also in the Gazette Online here, where searches can be conducted for listings under each of the six categories.
All listings in the new General Aviation categories are currently free of charge, both on line and in the hard-copy Phuket Gazette newspaper.
The Gazette’s classified advertising was launched 1997 and continues to offer the largest selection of such ads in Thailand, on- and offline.
Also launched last week on Google’s top-rated website for Phuket were the Phuket Property Review, a 16-page special publication covering wide segments of the island’s property market, and a new Sports Section which, with the Rugby 10s at Karon, quickly rose to make the Gazette Online Google’s World Number Five under the general search term ‘rugby 10s’.
And in a final note on the development of the Gazette Online, the website’s forum has been breaking records over the past two weeks with well over 100 comments posted by readers every day, making the forum by far the largest in Phuket.
