Phuket Architect & Engineering Exhibition 2012 underway

PHUKET: Good news for the island’s builders, designers and property owners: the Architect & Engineering Exhibition 2012 is now underway on the second floor of the Royal Phuket City Hotel.
The event runs daily from 11am to 8pm through Sunday, featuring a number of exhibitions and booths showcasing products from more than 100 manufactures and importers.
As tourist numbers wane into the low season, the exhibition comes with great timing for asset owners and managers looking to develop or renovate their properties.
Indeed, the Andaman region continues to see growth not only in the hotel and tourism sector, but also in luxury housing projects, yacht marinas and shopping centers.
To help assist these businesses with their building needs, the exhibition comprises a wide range of products and technology, featuring everything from construction tools and materials to architectural design service and decor items.
For people who have a particularly large or specialized, custom project, sound systems for conventions, conferences, night clubs and entertainment venues, as well as cutting edge products for home spas, swimming pools and gymnasiums will also be exhibited.
One of the objectives of the three-day event is to educate home owners and developers so they can independently design a multi-million dollar “smart home” complete with IPtv, 3G internet, IP phone, mobile phone and CCTV.
In addition to booths, there will also be a number of seminars and forums given about 3G and other hi-speed telecommunications, product presentations and a special forum about the real estate business.
The Phuket Architecture & Engineering Exhibition 2012 hopes to attract owners and managers of real estate projects, developers, architects, engineers, designers, contractors and anybody who has an interest in the products and events on offer.
Visitors to the event tend to come from Ranong, Phang Nga, Khao Lok, Krabi and Phuket.
This event is proudly sponsored by the Phuket Gazette.
