PHUKET: Jetstar has scheduled an additional ad-hoc service from Phuket to Australia on Sunday in order to assist travellers stranded by the overnight collapse of Air Australia on Thursday.

The ad-hoc services will be operated by an A320 aircraft with up to 180 seats and will fly from Phuket to Darwin (via Singapore) with onward connections to Jetstar’s domestic network, the airline announced on its website earlier today.

On Sunday, flight 3K 2536 will depart Phuket at 10:45am and arrive in Singapore at 1:30pm (Singapore time).

On the same day, flight JQ 7002 will leave Singapore at 10pm and arrive in Darwin at 4:30am on Monday.

Onward domestic connections from Darwin will be on scheduled Jetstar services.

Passengers wanting to take advantage of these flights can book directly at the Jetstar Service Desk at Phuket International Airport or by alternatively calling the Jetstar customer contact center on + 61 3 9347 0091.

Passengers will need to show evidence of their Air Australia itinerary at the Airport to match the value of the Air Australia ticket.
