Twinpalms designer Martin Palleros to join Phuket American Chamber of Commerce workshop

PHUKET: Noted designer of the Twinpalms resort, Martin Palleros, will be joining the panel of international designers speaking at the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) “Phuket Design Evolution” workshop at Royal Phuket Marina on Friday night (March 9).

Mr Palleros is also renowned for his work on Baan Yamu and the ultra-residence Villa Mayavee on Kamala’s Millionaires’ Mile.

Overseas, Mr Palleros has participated on the design team for the Aman New Delhi and he is currently working on the upgrading of the Bali Hyatt.

Additional members of the panel will include Adrian McCarroll of Original Vision, whose latest work is Kata Rocks, and Clint Nagata of Blink Design Group, which is the interior designer of the upscale resort Regent Panwa.

Scott Gorsuch of the Leisure Design Group will be moderating the event, which will focus on the past, present and future design of Phuket.

Registration for the event starts at 4:00pm March 9 and will be at the Royal Phuket Marina in the room next to Les Anges. The workshop will run from 5:00pm to 6:30pm and a networking event will follow.

The event is open to the public and costs a 100 baht, including drinks.
