The thrill of the Grill

Legacy Phuket Gazette

PHUKET: Phuket’s very own The Grill at Regent Phuket Cape Panwa has been named one of the nation’s best restaurants by the Thailand Tatler magazine, and will be featured in the prestigious Thailand Tatler Best Restaurant Guide 2014.

The guide will feature reviews of 150 fine-dining establishments in Bangkok as well as eateries in some of the major resorts in Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai. This annual publication is known as one of the most influential and reliable sources of information for foodies living in Thailand.

The Grill at Regent Phuket Cape Panwa has been recognized by the Tatler for delivering high-quality cuisine and top-notch dining experiences to its guests.

The restaurant is located high on a cliff in Cape Panwa, on the southeastern coast of Phuket, and offers grill-goers an elegant view of the Andaman Sea.

The menu offers a luxurious spread of fresh, locally-caught seafood and organic produce. A high-quality selection of ingredients, including grass-fed beef and free-range chicken, make for a memorable culinary adventure.

The driving force behind the menu at The Grill is Executive Chef Justin Baziuk, who is renowned for his passion in all aspects of cooking. Mr Baziuk’s enthusiasm for “real” food makes for an authentic taste and menu selection. These top quality ingredients coupled with a flair in preparation presentation lends to a unique dining experience.

Guests can choose their favorite cuts of prime meats for the chefs to prepare as they like, whether it be on a Western grill, in a Tandoori oven or an Asian wok. The Grill’s team of chefs prepare almost everything from their own kitchen to ensure the food is fresh and natural; from fresh chutney to sinfully delicious desserts.

Guests can take their time at The Grill, trying a selection of the choice menu items while taking in views of the bay. This experience has attracted strong praise on hotel review websites, with guests describing their visits as being “world class” and “heavenly”.

Regent Phuket Cape Panwa also offers a variety of different settings in which grill-goers can enjoy their meals and company. Whether it is a private dining affair inside, where guests can take advantage of an irresistible wine cellar with selections from around the world, or a more informal gathering at the alfresco-style rooftop lounge, guests of The Grill are sure to have a sophisticated night.
