Phuket to host southern region Bike for Mom photo exhibition
PHUKET: Phuket has been chosen as the southern region’s venue for the Bike for Mom photo exhibition, which will be held November 21-24 at Limelight Avenue.
“The exhibition will display the best photos from the Bike for Mom nationwide photo contest and about 1,000 other memorable images for the people of Phuket and the southern region to enjoy,” said Limelight Avenue Public Relations Officer Sirikun Amaramorn.
The nationwide photo contest was held from July 25 through August 16, with 32,012 entries from 3,581 photographers throughout the country.
The top five photographs were selected and divided into the categories ‘Love’, ‘Harmony’, ‘Gratitude’, ‘For Mom’ and ‘Determination’.
“To make the event even more special, the Ministry of Culture arranged for an exhibition of the winning photos across four regions in Thailand after the winning photos were announced on September 5,” Ms Sirikun said.
The exhibition has already been held in the north and northeastern regions. After Phuket, the photos will then be displayed in Bangkok at the final exhibition.
The free, four-day event will be held from 10am to 10pm.
