Major blackouts announced for March
PHUKET: In order to continue its work on high-voltage power lines, the Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PPEA) has announced scheduled blackouts that will affect major business areas as follows:
March 7, from 9 am to 5 pm
Koh Kaew: the west side of Thepkrasattri Rd, from Soi Harnfarang in Baan Sapam to the Isuzu showroom in Koh Kaew, including Soi Bangku 1 and 2, Moo Baan Chuan Cheun Lagoon, Baan Koh Kaew and British International School, Phuket (BIS).
March 18, from 9 am to 4 pm
Phuket City: the west side of Thepkrasattri Rd, from the PPEA substation to Phuket Wittayalai School, including Soi Lakgongsri, Prompan Village, Soi Manoon U-Thit 1 and 2, Soi Hongbut, Soi Rassada-ramruk, Moo Baan Phuket Garden View, the Krung Thai and Bank of Ayudhaya branches, Komaraphat Rd and Moo Baan Rabaroon as well as the soi from the Wor Kor Intersection to Phuket Rajabhat University and Soi Rajabhat-Samkong.
March 19, from 9 am to 5 pm
Chalong: the east side of Chao Fa West Rd, from opposite the PPEA substation to Chalong Circle, including Soi Nayai, Land & Houses Park (the Chaiyapreurk, Laddawan, Seewalee 2, Mantana and Pruerksachart Lakeview developments), Luang Por Chaem Rd, Soi Pramote, Soi Thanuthep and Moo Baan Chalong Suk.
March 25, 9 am to 5 pm
Chalong: south side of Patak Rd, from Chalong Circle to the Hayashi Raya Pacific Resort on top of the hill to Kata, including Patak Villa and the Green Man pub and restaurant.
