Lofty relocation at Boat Lagoon

PHUKET: After 14 years at his original premises overlooking the hard stand at Phuket’s Boat Lagoon in Koh Kaew, Muzza Nordstrand has moved his Canvas Creations to a new loft.

“We’re still in the Phuket Boat lagoon, as you drive in from the main road, turn right alongside the football field behind the gas station and you’ll find us in the big orange building – on the second floor,” Mr Nordstrand, managing director of Canvas Creations Co Ltd, told the Phuket Gazette this week.

“Basically, I’d been in my original shop for 14 years and needed more area. We now have 320 square meters to play around with, instead of 200sqm in the old place, and I wanted to stay in the Boat lagoon for need of being central to the yachting community.”

Originally from Whangarei in New Zealand and a certified tradesman in the custom marine canvas industry, Mr Nordstrand has been in Phuket for 20 years.

His decision to relocate to a new loft also coincides with the launch of a new website at CanvasPhuket.com
