The incident left Hayek appearing slightly put out. Later, Kidman seemed to say, “You don’t need it,” to which Hayek replied, “I do,” though the exact context remains unclear. Neither celebrity has addressed the incident publicly, despite requests for comments.
Despite the awkward encounter, Hayek posted a photo of herself with Kidman on Instagram the following day. On 1 October, she shared several snaps, including a video of Perry showing off the inside zipper of her dress, a clip of Hayek greeting Lindsay Lohan from across the runway, and the photo with Kidman, who was looking down.
