Garth Brooks accused of sexual assault in new lawsuit
Lawsuit alleges sexual misconduct by Garth Brooks, including assault and explicit texts
Warning: This article discusses sexual assault, which may be distressing for some readers. Garth Brooks, the country music star, faces accusations of sexual assault and battery in a recent lawsuit.
A lawsuit filed in California on Thursday by a ‘Jane Roe’ claims she worked as a hairstylist and makeup artist for Brooks. Roe began working for the singer in 2017 but initially worked for his wife, Trisha Yearwood, in 1999.
The suit alleges incidents from 2019, accusing Brooks of exposing his genitals, sending explicit texts, discussing sexual topics, and changing clothes in front of her. Roe’s filing also describes an incident at Brooks’ home where he allegedly emerged from the shower naked and forced her hands onto his genitals. Roe further claims that in May 2019, Brooks raped her in a hotel room during a work trip to Los Angeles for a Grammy tribute performance.
I don't like Garth Brooks since he went WOKE. Figured this would come sooner or later. FYI he hates Donald Trump.

Brooks has denied these allegations. Before Roe’s filing, Brooks, under ‘John Doe’, sought to prevent Roe from publicly repeating her claims. His complaint stated that Roe’s attorney sent a demand letter alleging misconduct after Brooks declined her request for salaried employment and medical benefits.
Brooks’ lawsuit argued, “Defendant’s allegations are not true. She is aware of the irreparable damage such false claims would cause to Plaintiff’s reputation, family, career, and livelihood.” Roe’s attorneys responded, stating Brooks’ preemptive complaint in Mississippi was an act of desperation and intimidation. They expressed confidence that Brooks would be held accountable for his actions and praised their client’s courage in moving forward with the complaint.
UNILAD has requested comments from Brooks’ representatives. For those affected by issues in this article, the National Sexual Assault Hotline is available 24/7 at 800.656.HOPE (4673) or online at online.rainn.org.
