The former president is unharmed, and the FBI is investigating what it describes as an “attempted assassination” of the Republican presidential candidate.

Since an assassination attempt in July, Trump’s security has been significantly increased. At Trump Tower in New York, dump trucks have been positioned as a barrier outside the building. During outdoor rallies, he now speaks from behind bulletproof glass.

After the incident with the gunman fleeing, Trump was safely taken back to his private Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, where he resides.
