Patong Darts League report
PHUKET TOWN: Defending champs Piccadilly moved to the top of the table in the Patong Dart League with a beer-driven 7-2 win over Boozers last week.
Both teams picked up some Scandinavian talent from former members of the Queen Mary bar, which is now under new management. Ronnie from Sweden went to Piccadilly, while his former teammate Steen opted to become a Boozer. Piccadilly player Vidor of Sweden got the high score on the night with 123, while former Queen Mary owner Steen of Denmark had an impressive 76 close.
In other second-week matches, Celtic got their first win of the season, thrashing Shakers 7-2 and going on on to win the beer leg. Matt of Shakers took the high score with a 120.
Despite losing many key players, Queen Mary managed to beat Beach House 5-4 and also take the beer leg.
Over on Soi Kebsup, Ryan’s Daughter are still searching for their first win of the season following a 7-2 loss to their fellow Irishmen of Market Bar. Geoff of Market Bar got the high score in that match, hitting a 140.
