What is business visa?

Also called Non-Immigrant B Visa, Business Visas are for foreign nationals who wish to do business or invest in Thailand or foreign nationals who wish to apply for a work permit in Thailand. This visa is not the same as a work permit that allows you to take up jobs in Thailand. Still, you need a business visa to apply for a Thai Work Permit.

Thai Business Visas are available as single or multiple entries. You will be expected to report your status when you leave and re-enter Thailand while on a multiple entry visa. If your Thai Business Visa is for a single entry, your visa will expire as soon as you leave the country.
