Umno General Assembly ends, aims to invigorate party for nation’s success

The 2023 Umno General Assembly concluded recently, with Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressing optimism that the event would rejuvenate the party’s delegates and members in their efforts to build a successful nation. The Deputy Prime Minister took to Twitter to share his delight at the assembly’s productive discussions and debates on the party’s future direction.

Ahmad Zahid emphasised that the assembly demonstrated the party’s maturity, focusing on the interests of the people and strengthening leadership to advance political dynamism in collaboration with the Unity Government. He called for unity, loyalty, and service from the entire Umno family to ensure success in the upcoming six state elections.

In addition, Ahmad Zahid expressed gratitude to all delegates for their solidarity and determination throughout the general assembly, which began on June 7. He wished them a safe journey home and encouraged them to remain committed to guiding Umno towards excellence.
