Foreigner found stabbed to death in Taman Central Island, Penang

In Taman Central Island Aspen, Batu Kawan, a man’s body was discovered in a pool of blood, with 10 stab wounds. The victim is believed to be a foreigner, and his identity remains unknown as no identification documents were found on him. Penang police chief Khaw Kok Chin confirmed that the man was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and initial investigations suggest that he was murdered.

Khaw stated that a police team was dispatched to the scene after receiving a call at 9.20am. A medical officer who arrived at the location confirmed the man’s death. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, and police are working to determine the identity of the victim and the reason behind the murder.

Authorities will also seek assistance from CCTV recordings in the area to aid their investigation. The body has been sent to Seberang Jaya Hospital for post-mortem examination.
