MontAzure helps fund the Muslim Foundation’s Tonkla-Kamala Camp

The developers of Phuket’s MontAzure in Kamala, is helping fund the Kamala Muslim Foundation’s Tonkla-Kamala Camp 2018 as part of the company’s ongoing support for the local community in Kamala.

The annual educational camp takes place from April 5-20 and is designed to help local children learn important skills that will be useful to them in their personal and professional life, as well as giving them a sense of good citizenship.

The camp offers young people a full schedule of engaging activities during the summer school break to avoid social problems such as drug and alcohol consumption, as well as reducing road accidents.

Around 150 children are attending the camp this year, which takes place at Kamala Mosque Baan Hua-Khuan with support from the local administrative office (Or Bor Tor) and the Phuket Governor’s office.

“MontAzure is an active member of the Kamala community and we are keen to make a positive contribution, not only by growing the local economy, but also by creating opportunities for young people in the area,” said Mr. Setthaphol Boottho, Executive Director, MontAzure.

“We are happy to support community programs that focus on education, which is why we decided to support this important camp for the second year running,” he added.

MontAzure made a donation to the Tonkla Kamala School Camp during the event’s opening ceremony.
