Last call for yellow pages

PHUKET: With an unprecedented volume of listing activity in its online database, the publishers of the Gazette Guide, Phuket’s Business & Entertainment Directory, have extended the deadline for listings in the 2004 hard-copy edition from this Thursday until 6 pm on Friday, November 14. Listings (and any modifications to listings) received after Friday will not appear in the 2004 directory, although they will be visible within 24 hours in the online version of the Guide. Local businesses are urged to enter (or update) their listings by going to https://thethaiger.com/guide/form.asp as soon as possible before the deadline. The Gazette Guide, first published in 1995, was initially restricted to Phuket only. In 2000, it was expanded to include leading businesses in Phang-nga, Krabi (including Phi Phi), and Koh Samui. Standard listings are free of charge, with each business entitled to appear in up to two categories. Advertising space in the 2004 directory is sold out. With a record 3,826 listings as of noon today, and confirmed hotel and non-hotel orders for more than 8,000 copies of the book, the 2004 Guide will be the largest ever. As always, it will, in addition to the hotels, enjoy island-wide distribution and be readily at hand in the homes and offices of Phuket’s English-speaking residents.
