Chalong Pier opening ceremony postponed

CHALONG: Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra cannot make it to the official planned opening of Chalong Pier on July 1, the pier’s owners, the Phuket Provincial Administration Organization (OrBorJor), announced today. As a result, the opening ceremony has been postponed until the PM is more likely to be available.
