Officers from Chon Buri Provincial Police arrested two Thai men for robbing a rental house occupied by three Chinese nationals in Pattaya on Wednesday while the other three suspects are still at large. A Thai female party entertainer was accused of supporting the gang.

The Mueang Pattaya Police Station received a notification about the theft at a beachfront rental house located in Pattaya Mueang Mai Village at 5.30am on May 3. Officers immediately rushed to the scene and discovered that the entire house had been trashed and the three Chinese victims had been attacked and suffered mild injuries.

The Chinese victims were identified as a 35 year old man named Wang Zhijun, a 37 year old man named Gu Junjie, and a 37 year old woman named Lin Xuerui.

The three Chinese victims, who had been renting a house in Pattaya for two months, reported to the police that they had hired a Thai female party entertainer to take care of them during a recent party. They suspected that the woman had assisted a criminal gang in robbing them.

According to the victims, three to four robbers broke into the house, with one of them using a gun to coerce them into transferring 207,400 baht to the gang. In addition to the cash, the robbers stole four mobile phones, one tablet, three watches, and one gold ring, causing damages totalling about 1 million baht.

After taking the stolen items, the robbers removed all security cameras and fled the scene using the victims’ Honda City sedan. However, the police were able to track the car’s GPS system and discovered that the gang had abandoned it in a nearby forest. CCTV footage revealed that they continued their escape on a black Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck.

The gang then abandoned the pickup at the residence of one of the suspects, a 28 year old man named Chaichana “Beam” Pimpa. They then fled in a bronze Honda Civic sedan towards Rayong province. The police have since apprehended two suspects, while three others remain at large.

Beam was arrested while fleeing to Rayong which led to the arrest of his friend, 27 year old Thawatchai “Bank” Siyangnok at his house in Pattaya.

The other three escaped thieves were identified as 24 year old Nakarin “New” Saetiaw, 26 year old Wanchana “Em” Kreedkrai, and Sarawut “Beer” Suthapot. The suspected female party entertainer will also be summoned for questioning.
