News Forum - Pattalung man faces arrest for molesting two girls
"The girls’ mothers, aged 34 and 32, reported the crime to local authorities but saw no progress for months, which led them to seek help from the media instead." The wheels of injustice turn slowly in The Land of Smiles. Too often, it appears the BiB don't consider the abuse of females, regardless of age, worth spending a lot of effort in investigation. This is just another case, in point. -

News Forum - Thai airports soar in Skytrax rankings: Suvarnabhumi leaps to 58th
58th in airport rankings really isn't much to shout about, to be honest. I've never minded BKK, though the walks can be long, they are the same in most major airports these days. It was always refreshing coming home after a bout in the desert of the Middle East but I've never been a big fan of the dining or refreshment establishments. For an international airport they are kind of cheesy. -

Thaiger Talk Quiz #251 - Heat in Thailand
You beat me on score. All i can remember on very high temperatures in Thailand is my first visit, when I did the trekking thing from Chiang Mai, drank vast amounts of water and still didn't take a piss for three days. Hottest place I have ever been was Lake Turkana in the far north of Kenya, where the temperatures can hit 50C, it felt like the air was being sucked out of your lungs. -

News Forum - Thai airports soar in Skytrax rankings: Suvarnabhumi leaps to 58th
I flew home from BKK via SIN. After getting home to IAD, my though thought was. This airport is ghetto. -

News Forum - Thai airports soar in Skytrax rankings: Suvarnabhumi leaps to 58th
I landed in BKK yesterday And I did land in the new terminal So had to take the train to the main terminal Now I don't know if this is planned but Immigration is right there when you get off the train Well about a 2min walk So that cut down on that big walk from when you land(although I didn't mind the walk after a long flight) I did the VIP Immigration which took less than 1 min But after I spent about 15mins getting a Sim card I came back and all the passengers from my flight were already at baggage claim So Immigration was not an issue yesterday I took the Airport link yesterday for the 1st time It was morning rush hour so quite jammed But it was very pleasant And would choose that over a taxi anytime Well unless I am with my Kunnai wife 5555
