What Thailand has been notoriously short of, especially since the Junta appeared to open more doors to tea-money and more serious corruption and especially since Prayut personally put himself in control of the RTP by nominating himself as its Commander, on becoming PM 'proper' at the election, is a police force that actually enforces laws and Covid-19 restrictions, a police force that the country's people are actually aware of.
